Increasingly, cruise ships want onboard water treatment systems, so that clean water can be released into the sea without harming coral reefs. To equip the world’s largest liner, the Queen Mary 2, the Carnival group chose the Orelis PLEIADE membrane bioreactor, which meets these criteria and is also highly compact and easy to use.
With its 700-square meter filtration area, the PLEIADE system can treat the waste water produced by a city of 8,000 people.
